ZANZIBAR CONSUMER PRICE INDEX (ZCPI) FOR JANUARY 2026

The Inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index for Zanzibar for the 12 months to January 2026 increased to 4.25 percent from 3.81 percent registered in December 2025. Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages inflation rate increased to 9.05 percent in January 2026 compared to 6.18 percent in December 2025. The overall Index increased to 119.74 in January 2026 compared to 114.86 recorded in January 2025
